A family that celebrated every occasion with the grace of a saree, their earliest memories are of their mother draping carefully folding heirloom Bandhej pieces.
Despite their deep-rooted love for traditional textiles, they took the conventional path building successful careers in the corporate world but, the allure of handcrafted sarees never faded. In fact, it only grew stronger and led to the birth of Indikea.
Every time they returned to Jaipur for festivals or family gatherings, they were reminded of the fading artisanship in their hometown—the dwindling number of weavers, the imitation prints replacing real handwork, and the undervalued labor behind every thread.
